    Has anybody been?

I was there yesterday with a couple of mates. A pretty great setup for petrol heads..and a supremely friendly bunch.

Could be good for an MBO meetup..perhaps when the weather gets on a bit and I can break out the SL.

    Any takers?

I follow them on social media and it looks great! Definitely keen on the idea of a club meet up after lockdown! - hopefully when the sun is out so I can drop the top on the SL!

I've never been, but apparently you can't just turn up or indeed can't just walk in on some weekends - pretty tightly controlled. If you plan on going I'd be phoning first to establish the rules. Some amazing stuff turns up.

It's true that you can't arrive to the venue by foot, you need to come by wheels of some sort.. so, taxi, car, motorcycle. Not sure about pedal bicycle.

It is always pretty busy during the weekends, so booking is advisable. It's a very well run venue however and it is obvious that they have gone to lengths to ensure it is a safe and friendly environment for the family and not the stereotypical boy racer with bad manners/attitude.

Are they still charging £5 to park up?

Yes, and if you pre-book for the weekend it is £10.

You do get a drink included too.. I find it a little much to be honest, because it's the cars that make a lot of the attendance worthwhile and you are being charged to effectively contribute to customers experience.

But then again, we live in a free market etc..so all good :)
