Hi.
My first post, I an having wiper problems.
Just finished a complete body work job on my 380.sl , (1984).
Did it at school, four of us spent four months doing all the body work and then the paint job. Turned out great, so many compliments.
So after we got her all put back together, the horn ,( which didn't work before) started working and the wipers, (which worked fine before) have just quit on me. Spent all my dough on masking tape and paint, hoping someone here can suggest a few troubleshooting tips.
I don't see where to add a photo here but will when I have a minute.

Welcome, sounds like you've done some great body shop routines there. Look forward to the pics. Lots on here use photobucket for those or tapatalk
On your wipers sorry to ask the obvious but have you checked the fuses?

Hello and welcome , as John has said those bullet fuses can look good but loose the connection on their ends with the holder either due to being a bit slack or corrosion/age

It is very possible that on rebuilding your car that you have forgot about or not connected the bonnet lock/closed switch.. the wipers wont work when the bonnet is open...
