hiya,
I'm interested in getting a roof rack for my C238, which is an E400. I believe the 4 slots in the roof are called fixpoint, but not sure. Would a roof rack marked as W213 compatible work on my car ? does anyone know ?

cheers
niall

Mercedes ones are very model specific so I doubt a 213 one would work for you. I picked up a second hand Mercedes GLC one on eBay for a very good price just for occasional use with kayaks.

they only have the previous generation coupe, mine's a C238 from 2017/2018, they don't have that model....

Maybe a trip to MB then although Thule make them for MB.

Maybe an E-Mail to Thule to ask, they may just not have updated the web site

If it has the locking points then you must be able to attach roof bars to it

so it seems that they want me to sign up on the Swedish website, so i checked there, and it doesn't list the same roof racks, and they are not searchable by model of car, this is beyond stupid.

so finally it arrived and i put it together, be warned you need to take your time assembling this as it's definitely not that straight forward, the instructions weren't great, but you can refer to this video to get some idea of the assembly

I also used a step (to stand on) so that I could clearly see the fix point screw holes on my roof, they were filled with debris which I had to vacuum out first. But now it's all fitted and it looks good and feels solid, I took the car for a test drive and there wasn't much wind noise with them fitted,

I'll post a follow up pic once I have my Kajak in place :)
