The car;W210 E220 cdi auto manufactured in Oct 2002 and reg in Jan 2003.
The problem;Whenever I start the car and enter my pin into the car phone (prewired) then immediately I enter the ok button on the Comand I get a warning beep to tell me that a bulb has gone.Upon checking, all of the bulbs are ok,but neither of the reversing lamps are working.
If I do not switch the phone on,but drive away, then after a short period of time the "bulb gone" warning light still appears and the reversing lights are not working.
If however upon starting the car I immediately select reverse,before entering my pin then both reversing lamps work and the bulb warning light does not appear.
Any advice would be appreciated.
