Hi ‘ya all,
Forgive my ignorance when it comes to Mercedes electronics. I’m getting started on a new project at work and my documentation really sucks.

Anyway, I’m not sure this applies to a W203.

I have made the following discoveries

CAN C = chassis CAN or engine CAN
CAN B = Body CAN
CAN D = diagnostic CAN

Ok, The CAN that is found on the OBD-II connector is ?? CAN?

Feel free to correct my ignorance.

Thanks

Yes, as above, not all car manufactures use the same protocol. there are single double and tipple speed CAN bus systems in use, high speed for important thing for the running of the car, and a slower one for non essential items
