Newbie here and new to Mercedes too, just bought a '99 C180 (W202) Espirit thats done 122K miles and has a good merc and indie service record but I feel needs some work which I hope to do myself!
I feel that the Espirit's low sports suspension is too low and hard for the rough country roads I spend most of my time on so I want to change the springs and shocks to the standard classic suspension so I'm wondering if its possible to change the springs + shocks and not have to change anything else like contol arms etc? I plan to get a 4 wheel alignment carried out when the job is done to ensure the camber and toe are set correctly.
