Anyone know whether I would have any problem towing a manual A-Class behind a US motorhome with all four wheels down?

Posted on Technical forum as well so apologise for the duplication.

I think towing restrictions only apply to automatic cars, so I would think you are OK, however I say this not knowing the A-Class specifically.

I'm wondering if it will still register how many miles it has rolled or not though?! It would be a shame to clock up high mileage and it not actually been driven.

I have an A170 CDI, which I have towed behind my Gulfstream SunSport motorhome (US "A" Class).
I used a fixed A frame which I built myself to attach to the front of the A170, no problem. And folds away when not in use.
The law states that towed vehicles over 750kg should be braked, but behind my 30ft motorhome it's no problem. my race trailer (20') goes behind without any problems, mined thats 4 wheeled and brakes, with a capacity of 2 tons fully loaded.

I have been told that the braked A frames are not that good, because they use a cable attached to the brake pedal of the car, to operate the brakes !
Which can cause binding etc..
I have seen people with braked A frame, that the cable is not attached !?!

If you need any more info, them PP me.
