Looking To Buy One Cant Find One On Web. Motor Showroom Reckons That This Badged C180 54 Plate Is Diesel. Need More Information Thankyou All

Hi Sandy, the smallest 203 car c Class diesel is a 200cdi there is no 180 dieasel

Thanks Malcolm with your knowledge could you run a check on this car for us C180 AVANT GARDE 4dr Saloon SE REG VX54 WKL TEST DROVE IT TODAY... Salesman assured us of the fact that this is a diesel 67000 miles full leather etc we provisionaly booked to buy for £10600 from vauxhall dealer I realise you are not a dealer but really liked the car... you know how it is excited and all that should i step back

I would need the full 17 figure VIN number to do a check, but as I said there is no C180 diesel

thanks again for your help guess they have got it wrong should a petrol model be a lot cheaper to buy do you think and would it be worth my while

Have a look at C180 's and C200 cars, the diesel versions are called for example c200 diesel or C220 CDI.

Petrol cars are cheaper than diesel to buy but more expensive on fuel, it depends on you mileage and what you are using the car for.

Buying such a late car you should look at what the MB dealers have to offer as they all have a 12 month no quibble guarantee, and they keep the best ones for themselves.

If you buy petrol you must find one built after 30-09-03 if you get a 04 car then go for after 04-04 on the build as the paint is much better

Do feel free to ask any thing, the VIN number on all MB's is at the bottom of the windscreen on the passenger side.

Do write this number down and PM it to me, or someone else and It can checked out to be sure the car is what it is.
