Can't close the boot lid on my c 220 cdi w202

i can't close the boot lid on my c 220 cdi w202 has anyone had this problem before please i would appreciate any advise. many thanks.

Providing the lock hasnt snibbed before closing, try button pressing and ensure the catch is open..the other thing may be the lock catch isnt working and allowing the hooked catch to lock..youre gonna have to remove it and check it manually..im not aware of any problems with this particular lock..but someone else may...
