my 1990 190e 2ltr will not idle below 2000rpm since
pressure washing the engine while it was running.
removing the plug from the idle actuator reduces it
down to about 1000rpm but reconnected it goes back up .any ideas?
done that andy, been over a week since this problem
began drives fine but had a problem before this with its
idling. when cold it would idle at about 1200rpm,then be ok but slightly hesitant to drop to 750rpm,but its never
stuck for any length of time before.
Then you need to check the KE system.IE the various components on the injection system whcih influence the KE control unit. EG Air flow sensors, throttle idle stop etc.
