It appears to have had one of those Nokia Hands free kits in where the phone plugged into a cradle.
Could that have some bearing on it?
Have created a photo bucket, but can only share it to twitter or Facebook!

I cannot see how that could alter anything, that is not on the output of the Audio 10

Righty ho, those little orange leads go to the Multichanger in the boot, there is a small black box about the size of a box of B&H, really don't think that's likely to be an amp.
kind of up the swannee without a paddle, as the radio needs a code, and I don't have it, I would prefer a decent radio, but this stupid fibre optics malarkey is ruining everything. Any idea of a work around?
ICE bloke reckoned it was a complete rewire of the audio system!
Does anyone else do the same sort of system so I can get a Bluetooth system in the car do you know?

Yes, when you turn it on, it says CODE in capitals, so it feels like its shouting at me! LOL, told it to calm down, it just carries on!
My singing is soooo bad, have downloaded Tunein on my phone!

You could fit the audio 20 or an APS version with sat nav, just plug and play

Now were talking, EBAY???????
I thought would be easier and cheaper to go for a nice little Pioneer unit.
Was also told as it was an 02 reg, that would have to go for the earlier models!

Yes but not that one as you have the older fibre optics and this one in the add is for the most bus

All Audio 20 are MOST Bus. The unit wont even physically fit in your car.

You cannot fit an Audio 20 unit, your car is too old. All you can fit is the single din audio 10 cd, audio 30 or older cd based Comand 2.0.

Your best off putting in an aftermarket double din unit.
