Car audio connectors/cables and bluetooth options for smartphone

Love to play music from my phone in my W212 estate (2012)

Car has bluetooth, and connects to my smart phone to make phone calls fine.

Has this connector in the centre console (see attached image).

Wondering if anyone knows if either of these options would work (cable would fit).. or if there is a better way.

This bluetooth cable - then connect to phone.

OR

This 3.5mm jack to MMI cable - and connect it to an Amazon Alexa bluetooth device I have (which then connects to phone) - my Android phone has not 3.5mm jack.

That connector is for the media interface. You can buy the cableset to use it;

If you have Comand and the latest firmware, then Bluetooth audio streaming will work also.
