I have to park my car near two large oak trees and after washing the car becomes dirty again straight away with the various residues coming from the trees. To combat this I have been considering purchasing a car cover, is this a viable solution or can they cause more problems with regard to possible damage to the paint work. What would be the best make and material for the cover if I were to go ahead.

I've never been a fan of car covers because of perceived condensation/dampness problems. Just my own opinion of course.

Not withstanding your comments - most car covers come with ventilation and a breathable skin - no evidence to suggest these work, but none disputing it either ;-)

Anybody have any experience of using these?
