Car cover for R230 Sl350. Anyone recommend one?

Hi,

I've just bought my SL350 2009.

To put it bluntly the boot is leaking like a sieve. Until I can figure out how to fix it I think my best bet is to get a waterproof car cover for it.

Can anyone recommend one?

I've seen one that's very expensive around £400. I'd rather not pay this if possible.

The best car cover is a garage.

Car covers can swirl paint and may not let the car breath.

Alt get a huge sheet of plastic and stick it over the boot if you don’t want to pay, have the space and won’t be using the car .

I agree with what the others say on the swirling etc, but I had a good ceramic paint protection on the car and the cover was a fairly tight fit so the wind didn't move it much. Main thing is the car needs to be pretty clean before putting the cover over.
This cover was good quality, albeit I tore it slightly where the stub aerial was through a bit of over zealous pulling! It was also breathable

There's a place in Rushden, Northants, called Cover Systems Ltd that made covers for my Lotus and TVRs at very reasonable prices.

Not used them for a very long time though...

I’ve had partial success with fixing the leaks. I think I’ll hold off in the cover until I see if I can fully fix them.
