Hi,
Driving to work my car cut out, I couldn't restart, or select neutral to restart,
waited three(ish) minutes the car started again as if nothing was wrong.
It is a C220 CDI SE Sports Coupe 2003, What can the fault be? I've only had the car a week, I don't have a spare key to rule that out. HELP!!!

I'd say its the crankshaft sensor.

when they go faulty they tend to fail when the car heats up but when it cools down they work.

God, I'm not the only one then! I have only had my e class for a week and already I have had to replace a tyre, following that the car has gone into idle 2 times! lol
