It will soon be time to rewnew my comp insurance for another year,
Having followed the experiences of Wagamama I will be interested to hear some advice - with the Pru at present for about £480. Saga could be on the list this time. :(
Thanks
James

Cheapest place I found was a broker - Adrian Flux Insurance - 0870 077 5566.

Cost was £308 for year comprehensive, me & wife, including business use for 1987 260E.

I've never had to claim, so can't vouch for how good they would be in a crisis

33, Male, last accident over 10 years, clean licence.

'95 E220 coupe, garaged, protected no-claims, fully comp. - £380 Hastings Direct.
'73 230/6 LWB, Secure Parking, second vehicle policy 1,500 miles, Third party F&T - £76 Wilsons Insurance Brokers (not sure of company)
'61 220SEb coupe, garaged, agreed valuation classic policy 3,000 miles, fully comp. - £106 Footman James

The cheapest quote for a '88 300SL to replace my E220 is £398 from Direct Line. Or £342 for a '84 280SL from Tesco Insurance. Which I thought were both very good considering I'm paying £380 for my E220 W124 .

I thought there was a recent change in the law whereby insurance companies were not allowed to descriminate against people with medical conditions or disabilities.

In fact I dont think they are even allowed to ask anymore....time for you to shop around I feel!

with Axa for a few years,
E240
£415

Berkshire
5 years NCB
2 named drivers over 30
garaged
XS £275

Axa also mirror the first policy's NCB for the second car
- the sweetest bit if you are starting from scratch for the second policy
