Does anyone know, if you unlock the doors, throw the keys in, will the doors self lock?
W204, not keyless. Not sure if I openeded the car door and left them in.Do you mean self lock via keyless, then on the newer cars no it won’t, on older cars it may do.
You could try it, only if you have a spare key though.
Always force of habit, if the key is inside the car, keep a window open.Note:
1) get the Mercedes me app and you can always unlock and lock from the app.
2) if you jack up a wheel and spin it, when the hall sensor sees 4mph the car will lock so don’t do it with the key inside and the doors shut
I can assure you if you just open the boot on a lwb w220 with everything else locked and then drop the keys with keyless go card in the boot and close it, unless you have been lucky enough to leave the rear fridge unit out or have a spare key you will indeed be in a bit of bother. No, they wont
Any version of keyless will also not let you lock the key in the car, including the boot, which will re-open if the key is inside
