Car transport company Winsford ?

I’m looking at buying a merc from Fords of Winsford, Cheshire. They don’t deliver.
Due to being in tier 4 I can’t travel outside East Sussex. I’m looking for a reliable, reputable car transport company (not a trade plater) in/near the dealer in Winsford. Any recommendations?
( I won’t use Shipley or their like who are middlemen and from experience the companies they ask to quote are unsuitable. )

We use Worthington Transport on many occasions at work.

Always seem reliable and based near to Winsford. They do single vehicle deliveries.

Agreed but in a T4 lock-down it is hardly an "essential / critical" service is it , delivering cars to members of the public.

A car delivery driver can’t exactly “work at home” so according to the rules they can go to work.
What if they’re delivering ambulances? Or cars to ambulance drivers?
It’s why lockdown 2.0 made zero difference to traffic levels.

I get them not being able to work from home , obviously.

I mentioned , delivering cars and not ambulances.

I was merely commenting that if it any "non critical / essential" 500m round trip delivery is "required" then maybe there should be tighter restrictions put in place if we were genuinely trying to stem the spread of the virus.

That would involve restricting a lot more businesses again and the economy would suffer further.
I agree with what you’re saying, it’s the impossible balance.
(Impossible because it’s not worked so far)

So what about cars being delivered to essential workers like doctors, nurses? It's all very convoluted but business needs to go on as much as possible..
