    Hi all.

I need to collect a vehicle from Belfast to my workshop. Its a non runner so needs to be transported.

Can anyone recommend a good transport company? I have a few but most of them go up and down from/to Scotland so they will be a bit spendy!

Could you not use a car (4x4) and car trailer?

Friend of ours owns the below place, they are pretty happy to go out of the way so a quote won’t hurt.

Try this guy As he has an online quote and delivers mostly out of England to Ireland so might get a decent quote. Not sure about non runners? plenty of breakers here get non runners regularly from England to N.Ireland. dont know any firms off hand but if I do get any info I will get back to you Alexander

Woodside haulage do a vast amount of dealership work here in the Northern Ireland transferring new and used vehicles both directions, but again not sure if they transport non runners

When I needed to move 3 vehicles I used an online bidding type system. Worked out pretty good value for all 3 (including my Land Rover which wasn’t a runner at the time).

I’d be happy to do it but don’t have a car trailer. I’ve a friend with a lorry but he uses it regular so couldn’t use that unfortunately :(

I have used shiply a few times. They have been quite good but not used them for cars. I have put a job up so will see what they say.
