Carglass just came to the neighbour's to change the windscreen on their Renault.

All done calmly, efficiently and cleanly by one man. And all with a smile.

54 minutes.

Very impressed.

When I had a new screen on my 230, the guy wanted to mount it too high, I had printed off the measurements before hand and he did not want to use them till I pointed out that if the screen was too high up then the wiper arm grommets would not go back on.

Although to be fair, Carglass must do a lot of little Renaults. I wonder if he'd make as good a job of a Mercedes ?

Aren't they the same, Autoglass and Carglass; both owned by some Belgian outfit?

Maybe it's just that the French have such a sunny disposition and friendly service attitude. As anyone who has ever dined in a Paris restaurant can attest... ;)
