Ok so I remembered to shun the Ale last night and will be making my way down for about 0930. Tall, grey on blond, super dry jacket and jeans.

I left about half an hour before you arrived then!
A few Mercs there - CLA45 in overflow field and a couple or four others mostly C's but an SL (I think) in the morning car park. Next time we should coordinate a bit better and 'reserve' us a few spaces or meet up down the road beforehand or something.

SL - the blue one - was us. Got there at 9am. Shame they've chosen to alter the parking format and squashed cars in though. A touch on the cool side but thankfully dry. Don't think you can reserve spaces but meeting up might be an idea.

With the slogan in the bottom of the plate? :D

I was parked besides a Bentley until he decided to move :D

Some “interesting” cars there including this 300C. 295 25 R22 on the back...

Wish I'd gone to this instead of doing a 195 mile round trip to N Yorkshire.

No rain on the way there but the roads were damp which was a bit ominous. Sure enough, we got inside, got parked up and it absolutely lashed down. :(

Ah well, nice to see a few old faces but disappointed as it's just taken me an hour to clean the car down. Traffic was bad coming home as well, just under 90 minutes to get there, 2 hours coming back home but it was nice to get the little 190 out for a good run and, touch wood, it performed impeccably.

I saw some ford owners parking and leaving gaps which they filled with people then waved their mates in when they arrived. Bit extreme but could just meet down the local McDs - Theres one just before the bridge if coming from Stockport side - then convoy in .

There was a nasty nasty accident top of the M61 heading south. Mercedes with a crumpled front passenger wheel and further back up the road a people mover or suv (couldn’t tell what) that had rolled multiple times and was in a hell of a state.

Heard about that on the radio but it was the A64 around York which screwed me up. :(

Drove past it on way home. MB owner apparently had no insurance and is being charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving. M61 was apparently shut for 7 hours. These MB owners eh?

Another good meeting at this location today. Sunny day and the place was busy. A handful of MB's - my favourite was a Hell Green GTs. Always a really different selection of cars. Recommended.
