Hi, Hope someone can help.
My cd autochanger keeps showing as "No disc" when in fact their are discs in the cassette (disc holder). I have changed the discs over numerous times and can hear the cd player trying to load a disc but to no avail! Has anyone had similar issues ? Would it pay to buy a new disc holder (cassette)? It is a factory fitted cd changer (2001 E320 CDI Avantgarde).
Thanks

Hi,
Have you had either the head unit or the autochanger out the car recently as it could of dislodged the fibre optic data link to the stereo.
Replacing the CD magazine should,nt make a blind bit of difference.
If a new one is required try on e-bay as there's always MB disc changers on there.

Hi,
I have just fixed Guiseppe's (a fellow forum members) car stereo and he had a exactly the same problem as above, it turned out to be the stereo head unit up the shoot.
I notice you are in Hampshire, I do have a perfectly working auto changer which i took out of my AMG, if you wanted I would swap it for mine so you could identify wether its your head unit or changer at fault.
