CD autochanger - Where do you put a CD autochanger in a 7 se

I have just bought a 1994 E220 estate, with 7 seats and passenger airbag.  I would like to fit a CD player to it, either as a simple replacement of the existing r/cass or, preferably, fitting a CD autochanger as well as a new head unit.  

Given that I have seven seats, I can't fit the autochanger under the floor in the boot, as I have seen done elsewhere.  Because of the passenger airbag, there is no glovebox, so it can't go there either.  Any other suggestions, or do I stick to buying a cd/radio?

i cant remember exactly the load bay on the old shape e class but this may help.

In the new ones , on the offside rear, there is a pannel that comes away to reveal the first aid kit and the warning triangle. in here there should be a well large enough for a cd autochanger as this is where the factory installed ones go.

Thanks for that.  I had wondered whether that panel would be a good place for it to go.

Is it something that any installer would do, or would you recommend going down the dealer route?

I would personally take it to a hifi installer to have an autochanger fitted. The dealer , im sure will be able to do it , but it would prob be more expencive.

Look towards alpine , i like their stuff.
