CD Changer advice please

Hi all,
my CD changer has started struggling to read CDs. It loads and ejects ok but then throws up "wrong disk" and won't play any. From time to time you can get a few tracks out of it, then it gives up again. The CDs themselves are fine and play ok in the head unit.
Is there something that goes on the 211's changer or could it be a dirty head (how would I clean it?) etc.
Is it salvageable?
Any advice?

Try a cd lens cleaner disc or take it apart to clean the lens.

I would take it apart and clean the lens with alcohol, the cleaners will not remove any film

Thanks guys, just a dirty lens then. Good news I'll strip it down at the weekend.
