'With the Audio 10 turned on to CD there should be a red light in the end of the optical lead that plugs into the changer. If no red light, the lead could be damaged or not pluged in the rear of the audio 10 head unit. this can be withdrawn to check the it is pluged in. if you look into the socket of where the optical lead goes, there should be a red light in that. No red light there means there is no optical outlet on the head unit'.

Found the above thread from 2006 by Television.

Further help, if possible, please.

The original changer MC3198 in my X-reg CLK was intermittly working often discs sticking or 'No CD' displayed. Does not work at all now. Bought two changers from EBay ( both MAY be iffy). There is a red light on the end of the cable but the white light is out, should this be on, or come on when I press the CD button on the radio. Or do I have 3 duff changers?

Help pleases Geoff
