I remember doing that in the 70's, when it was easy to get a radio out.
Loads of tape all around the tape head.

Ahhhhh the good old days of the actual tape getting stuck and creased up and would round everything. Then straightening it all out and winding it back with a biro.
Sorry I have explained wrong it's a multi cd player and I can't remove the 6 cd cassette

I knew what you meant. I found how to get it out from my CLS 320 on you tube , it was easier to just replace the whole head unit with cassette .

Give the cassette, that holds the cd’s a bash. Technical I know…. I seem to remember that our W208 used to stick. Ended up taking it apart after a while. The cd would stick half in, half out of the unit and needed flicking back into the cassette with a flat blade screwdriver.

Give the cassette a sharp rap with the handle of a screwdriver while keeping the eject button pressed. You may have to do this a few times but it will come out. The problem is down to the lubrication in the gears drying out over time and sticking.

Hitting it did the job
Thank you for the advice
