My 2004 E220 CDI has a CDC button on the audio system, but the manual doesn't say what CDC's are.

Are they simply CDs with MP3 files on them, or CD audio that have the name of the tracks displayable?

Keep it simple...not anorak answers please...

I have been Googling for ages about this - with no success so far.

I would give a Dealer a quick call and ask the question.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that maybe the question is "what is CDC" - in which case CDC stands for "CD Changer". It's a button to tell the radio head-unit to listen to the CD changer and not the single slot CD player that you (probably) have in the headunit.

*If* you have a changer it'll be in the glove box, or in the boot (usually on the left hand side in the well) (big thing - can't miss it!)

Hey, thanks for your post. I've got a question if you don't mind. I've got the exact radio player on my car and I'm wondering where do I find the aux input...or how can I make it work? Like I want to be able to play music from my phone and stuff like that. I recently got the bluetooth telephone module V4 and that takes my calls but that's it.

Thanks,
Claudiu
