R230...about to purchase will update shortly
Hi Dazyp, I bought my merc without the radio code, but took along my V5 (logbook) & ID to the stealership - to prove its my car - and they were able to provide the code from their systems - all for free :)

just got the door panel off and check voltage on the wiring not sure what i should be getting but here it is .
unplugged the 5 pin plug from the door locking system and cable colours in order are brown , blue , brown , white , green
when i lock the car i get 12v on the white and when i lock the car i get 12v on the green nothing on any of the browns or the blue ?
any one know if this is correct ?
and is the door locking solenoid fitted to the big door locking assembly ?
dont know what people done before central locking but its a pain leaning over to unlock the passenger door

also noticed since putting the door panel back on the air bag light is on is this because I removed the wiring to remove the panel
Can this be reset manually or does it need to be done by a dealer

does any one know how to remove the door locking assembley from the front passenger door ?
i have checked the wiring harness and it seems to have 12 v when you lock and unlock the car so i would assume there is something wront with the locking assembley ?
is the solenoid for the door located in the assembley ? i have tried to remove i get as far as unbolting it from the side and lowering the complete assembley to the bottom but can not get to twist it to remove through the gap out the door , it hits the support brase at the in the door and i can not turn it in any direction to remove it ?
does it need parts stripping off it to remove it in several parts.
and would buying a second hand locking assembley solve my problem.
