Happens with both fobs, and changed batteries to new ones.

Sometimes the CL will not work, wait a minute or so and then it does. Sometimes it will work all week without a hitch.

Any ideas? Maybe duff new batteries I guess, but anything else?

forgot to mention, if I lock the door with the key, it only locks the drivers door, and doesnt operate the CL for all the doors. So if I lock the drivers door all the other doors are unlocked. If I unlock the drivers door with the key and the car is locked the alarm goes off untill I put the key in the ignition.

This is an unusual fault, its all electric on the 203's and it will have to be put on STAR to check the fault codes. It sounds like a bad connection in one of the EIS components

quick question, just read somewheres the battery should be CR2032, I'm using CR2025 for some reason (thats what was in i guess).
Which is correct?

There is no difference in the 2 as regards the working and the voltage is the same, the difference is physical as one is a little larger that the other

If you key gives a beam seen in a digital camera, then it is working, try it when it does not work
