Have an '89 300E. Slowly have progressed from being able to get in only from passenger door to now not being able to get in at all. Spent yesterday with WD40 fixin's and worked well enough to finally lock it up... but now no access!! Key doesn't turn in locks at all. One dealer says it's probably the key (worn).. somebody else (locksmith) says it could be the vacuum or a problem because I should have used lithium white instead of wd. (Lithium white might re-set the tumblers?) No one has actually looked at it yet. Weekend, ya know. Any suggestions about how to get in?
