Only just got this on the road after replacing engine head.Has any one experience with this model?I would like to trace the system through the vehicle and repair the central locking..the doors can only be opened with a key and the slider door from inside the vehicle..
Is my mercedes key suppose to open the doors remotely?
Another thing is the noise ..anybody suggest a way or how to soundproof the vehicle so that we can hear the kids talking from the back seats..engine noise is bad!
Many thanks

For starters id check the front doors for broken wires in the loom goinginto the body.Does the remote key do anything?if when pressed the doors lock then unlock it means an actuator or actuators has failed.Youll probably find once youve got one working itl need all of the actuators as when they dont see a locked signal they keep trying to shut then the motors burn out.

Has anyone got a layout of the central locking system for a v230 or how to access the wires and actuators?
