Change Digital Read out to MPH instead of KPH on C200cdi

On my New C Class, it show on the digital read out how fast i am going but in KPH, how do i get this changed to MPH, its just so annoying!!

It can only be changed by a dealer by changing the control unit coding, but it is unlikly that they will change it as it is a legal requirement to have the speed displayed in MPh and KMh for GB cars.

With the car stationary, turn the ignition on. then use the steering-wheel controls as follows:
1. Use the menu buttons to bring up the "settings can be set at standstill" screen.
2. Use the left-hand up/down buttons to select the 'Settings' screen
3. Use the right-hand +/- buttons to highlight 'INSTRUMENT CLUSTER'
4. Use the left-hand up/down buttons to select 'DISPLAY VALUES IN'
5. Use the right-hand +/- buttons to toggle between Km and Miles. Select Km
6. Use the menu buttons to return to your usual 'mileage' display screen.
Both the distance travelled and speed will now show in Km.

Hi

Alancolvin's post only changes the Computer NOT the Actual Readout above the Gear Info.

Lamar's Post makes sense as there are no KPH Readings around the normal Speedo.

The only way it can be done is to change the codings. The coding has to be changed from Great Britian to Rest of the World In The instrument cluster.
Can only be done by MB Workshop Or If You have Your own DAS Diagnostic Computer

Lamar, is this the same as stardiagnose? Can it be used to add litres of fuel remaining to the mileage-to-empty display which I have seen elsewhere?
