front and rear. both off side shocks are leaking so thought i mite as well change the lot while i'm at it. have been offered a full set of lorinser sports shocks off a w202 c280 but have to check with mb first to find out if they will fit. hope they will.

Yes they will fit.
I have Lorinser spec. Bilstein Shocks on my 230k.
Being a Sport the suspension was low and quite hard anyway but the Lorinser shocks are 'really' hard, bit too hard really . I wish now that i had bought standard ones.

its a 1998 c200 estate thats just covered 105k. its sitting very low on the off side ( just over 1.5 inch when empty) was advised by local merc dealer that both shocks would need replacing he then went on to give me what looked like a phone number but was actually the price it would cost for the work to be done.

i would be careful replacing with lorinser shocks, i have heard as mentioned above taht they are really hard and stiff, loosing the ride quality.
I have bilstien sports shocks and lowering springs, i have reverted back to MB sports springs now as the car was awefully low and a really hard drive.....
