After changing fuel filter in a 2 yr old Vw today started it up let it tick over for few minutes then tried to rev it and only went to 1500 , thought ohh crap what’s wrong here , scratched my head for few minutes then felt a fool when I remembered some cars now are made they can’t be revved up while stationary, jumped in took it for a drive away it went no problems. so just a we note in case this happens to you.
