Colour temp?
they're looking for illegally fitted HID kits ..... and if found, the car fails its MOTBut what are they actually looking for , the link says Jack...
As I've said. Colour temp is a giveaway as is time to full brightness. HiD are very slow, halagen are faster and LED instant.How , no method notes , everyone is guessing at this point , yes HID is much more obvious but some LED that just fit in the housing behind a thick projector lense more tricky .
It's like the DPF MOT test , you have to know the ins and outs to get a complete understanding rather than saying.. = instant fail .
