Changing Dash Lights on '87 300E

Hello. Has anyone ever taken on the challenge of changing the light behind the dash (speedometer and such)? Thanks.

Yes. You have to disconnect the speedo cable or not pull the pod out very far.

You can get a tool for popping the pod out, about £10 from the stealers. When I went to buy a tool, they just popped it out for me and I drove home and replaced the bulbs.

It's a two minute job with the tool.
