Changing front brake pads on 190E - Tips / DIY Guide help!

Hi all,

Going to help a friend change front brake pads on his Mercedes-Benz 190E. I have been able to source some pads, however I am after a guide to help me change them. I have changed pads on a range of cars previously, but not a Merc.

Any tips? Is the brakes on the A190 similar to the 190E?

190 brakes are a dawdle to change.
Disconnect the pad warning sensor,using 2 spanners and undo the bottom bolt on the pad cradle and swivel upwards. Remove the pads and fit the new ones. Refit the bolt using the new one supplied.
Easiest pad change ever!!
