Hi, guys, I about to change the thermostat on my 210 320cdi 2000 I've looked at previous posts on the subject and it seems fairly straight forward but I was wondering if anybody could supply me with a work sheet for the job? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Michael..

Hi Bassman - Ive just changed the stat on my 2001 210 220cdi - so nice to have a warm cabin and better MPG as well. Now then, it isnt a difficult job but as an expert on here (cant remember who it was) told me to watch out for the plastic fuel lines that run right next to the thermostat, all I can say is WATCH OUT FOR THOSE STUPID PLASTIC FUEL LINES!!!! I was so carefull, but that plastic gets brittle cos of the diesel running through them and I snapped one. Also theres a piece of rubber pipe that comes out of the bottom of the thermostat - I found it a real bugger to get back in place whilst I refitted the new stat. Apart from that, it was OK, if I forget about busting that fuel line it was easy.

Regards

Thanks matthew, I'll watch out for those fuel lines! I'm lookinjg forward to a warm cabin again, I've over half the rad covered and it still wont get over 45/50 degrees. Max journey at the mo is about 10 miles but it should still get up above 50 degrees dont you think?
