I have c350e estate 66 plate can you use any public charging stations with cable that came with car

Most of them, yes, but you might need to download the appropriate app for some of the chargers. Some are just contactless wit a debit/credit card, but others you need to register.

There can be numerous different companies requiring you to register and setup an account. It’s a ball ache at times.
