A ridiculously low *buy it now* price, of about 1/3 of retail.

Can't see the catch, but am of the assumption that there'll be one.

A great believer in ther phrase *If it looks to good to be true, it probably is*

I'm actually looking for one of these monsters at the moment, but think I'll give this one a miss.

I am actually aconfused about that as well, I have seen cars that are say for example £15000 and the owner has advertised buy it now for £4000 ....and I cant seem to understand why is that !?? is it like you pay £4000 and then clear the remaining finance on the car or something ?!?!?

yes i have noticed this too... and have you noticed all these auctions are for "pre-approved bidders only" ? i saw a new shape SLK for £3,000 the other day. i wonder if its some kinda of money laundering scam or something

But this is an E55...add another 10k. Someone is obviously after something here (and I don't think it's selling a car)

Nice chance to double your money

If its genuine. As far as buy it now prices on ebay go you pay the cash and it ends the auction early, what you see is what you pay.

Pre-approved bidders only means that the seller gets your email details and you find that the car is in Bulgaria or some other country as the guy has had to go home to be with his aged sick parents etc etc.....and needs to sell the car to pay for hospital bills etc..,,,,,scam scam scam..... Next will be the suggestion to do the deal outside of ebay to save money, i dont know how exactly the scam works as I didnt bother to progress the one I found sometime ago...I presume he will ask for the shipping costs back to the uk to be paid up front or some other trick

The seller account has been "phished" ie the real sellers identity has been knicked to get a a good selling history....

I've asked to join the pre approved list and I will post the reply...

It's seriously dodgy - clearly - no such thing as a free lunch or a 1/3rd price E55!. My Dad's just paid more than that for a slighly older E220cdi !!

He's gone to a lot of trouble too. The email address looks pretty genuine as you assume kred.com is a genuine company. kred.com is actually an ask no questions web accessed email account holder.

that reg no is on a 318i !!

It's probably a 'bring the cash and see my gun' fiddle!
I've reported it to ebay and suggested they contact our blue uniformed friends.
