cheap ill fitting dizzy cap!! need help!

replaced dizzy cap and rotor arm yesterday from german swedish and french,dizzy cap didnt quite fit correctly, its the spring clip type,the slightest touch made one of the springs 'boing' off!
needless to say it didnt last long,off it came while on a test run,i managed to limp home with what sounded like only three pistons working and put the old one back on,which wasn't that bad at all with the old rotor arm! ive now replaced the rotor arm again and put new plugs in but its still only running on three pistons,can anyone help?
i need the car in the morning and its pi**ing down outside!!

by the way youve got my name wrong on several occasions,its marShie with an 's' not marChie with a 'c'
i wouldn't normally say anything but as its my surname it has kind of stuck :mrgreen:

and shaggy, thanks mate, but it didn't stop me feelin a right plonker! i could have sworn i copied the pattern from the other cap
but....it is sorted now and running better than it ever has,and looking rather fine too i might add, i did a straight swap with my father in laws wheels today off his c220 sportline :-D look quite nice....pics will be added once i get my camera back from the local police station!!!
