Hi, another newbie to bolster the ranks here.

Have done a quick search through prev threads and couldn't find anything so:

Does anyone know of a cheap(ish) Genuine MB/AMG/Brabus alloy wheel provider (pref south west uk and dont mind 2nd hand)?

I have looked at alloywheelsdirect, just wondering if there was anywhere else I should look to get a price comparison etc.

Am looking for 17/18s to replace my extremely corroded standard 16s

Thanks

Ian

Hello new member and welcome to the forum. Ebay is a good place to look normally plenty but never when you are looking, that's Murphy's law,. be patient they do come up, I have bought 3 sets now and done well.

With AMG wheels dont rush into anything that needs re furbishing that can be expensive or make sure that they are cheap enough to allow for that

Just out of interest and slightly OT why do MB/AMG wheels seem to corrode more quickly than other manufacturers?

Do a search on "wheels" and you will find lots of information on this subject

This is a hard question in two parts, clear lacquer does not stick very well to polished aluminium, and it is weak within its self (no pigment)
