Choosing a main dealer for a service.

At some stage my wife will need to have her new A Class serviced.
Past experience with the supplying dealer MB Portsmouth means that she will not go within a million miles of them or their other branches, including the one nearest us.
So having ruled out Riverdale does anyone have any suggestions within striking distance of Chichester ? I am afraid she is a main dealer girl !

Is it still a stipulation with new cars that they must use a dealer rather than an indie in the 1st few years ?

No idea, as I've never bought a new car for a loooong time, however if you can, then I reckon that cole bloke @ southampton seems to get great reviews...

I am pretty sure Southampton is part of Ridgeway so is a no go . I use PCS but SWMBO wants a main dealer stamp in the book (or in the system).
Guildford or Redhill are just about viable ...... Crawley maybe even easier. Any views ?
