We've been away for a while but we're back and once again ready to contribute helpful comments to the forum. If at the same time we can provide you with a competitive quote for your car insurance when it falls due - great!
You might like to know that we're currently offering MBO members a £5 discount on UK Breakdown Cover - all the usual benefits (including HomeStart) PLUS some useful extras not normally covered by the big providers. For example, MBO Breakdown Cover will help if you run out of fuel, accidentally damage your tyres, have a flat battery or you lose/break your keys.
The policy normally costs £54.50 but until 29 February 2012 you can arrange MBO UK Breakdown Cover at the discounted price of £49.50.
Cover is 'per vehicle' and there are no age of vehicle restrictions. Just mention our 'Winter Warmer' offer when you call.
On the car insurance side of things it's fair to say that the industry has gone through unprecedented change in the last 12 to 18 months, with insurers increasing premiums by as much as 40%. The good news is that we're through the worst of it and as brokers we'd now expect to be able to help the majority of members to find the best deal. So, even if you called us last year, it would be worth trying again this year.
However, while we'll help you find a good deal, MBO Insurance is not about cheap-jack, bargain-basement cover. That's not the way to do the best for our customers. We couldn't in all conscience send you out on the roads with anything other than solid cover and the assurance of a reputable claims service should the worst happen.
If you're looking for the cheapest possible cover to get you through the legal requirement to have car insurance perhaps we're not your best option. But if you're looking for good quality cover at a reasonable rate definitely give MBO Insurance a call when your renewal falls due.
