Was thinking of getting some chrome MB exhaust fittings ('tips'?) for my 2005 E320cdi.

What should I be looking for, and are they easy to fit yourself?

Or would they make the car look 'spidey'?

Any opinions or advice would be appreciated.....

Diesel pipes normally point downwards, so is it worth it

AMG diesel exhausts point horizontally :D But you would need to change the rear box as a minimum. (expensive) or check ebay various sellers have "convertors" that angle the tips horizontally, look crap IMHO but each to his own :D

Like these? Look Ok from the back but a bit dodgy from a side view.
Depends why you want them, they keep idiots aways from your back-end on the motorway.

Mesage received and understood.

It was a passing fancy, really.

Thanks everyone!

They are useful on the motorway to keep folks from tailgating, can be slightly embarrassing otherwise.
