Chrome wheel arch covers, NICE OR NAFF..???

I'm thinking of putting some Chrome wheel arch covers on my 190E..
the car doesn't stand out, At all...

It's marroon in colour,,and the trim is marroon aswell.. it has no rear spoiler..

so are chrome wheel arch covers , Nice or Naff?????

Should you wish your Merecedes to look like a pimp mobile then go right ahead. Why not go the whole hog and get the matching chrome tail pipe shroud from Halfords too.

Otherwise, leave the understated, classy lines of a Mercedes well alone, Good artists know when to stop.

thankyou for all the comments on this subject....

just to let you know,, I repainted and treated all the wheel arches on the car,, as two were abit rusted... I used some hammerite rust stopper, called KURUST... after rubbing the areas down with some wet and dry...
and resealed the inside of the wheel arches with some other hammerite paint... then I resprayed all the areas with the body coloured paint... then polished to a high shine...

I did buy some chrome wheel arch covers,, and they are now on the car...

THEY LOOK BEAUTIFULL.. all the chrome thats on this marroon car really stands out,,
I don't think it looks like a pimp car.. maybe a drug dealer car...

I'm very pleased now with the way it looks....

I'm still not sure if I bought a lemon yet...
but only time will tell , as I don't have any history on this car,, only the word of the garage I bought it from, And we all know what there like..

They do look good on a Pullman, I have them on my Smoky-silver 94 Class, and I don't think they're too bad, but then I would say that, wouldn't I. Definitely better on the older models they go with the existing chrome.
