I thought I'd try Shell V-Power Nitro instead of the usual supermarket unleaded. After about 300 miles the 'Check Engine' light came on and has stayed on since.

As it happens, its MOT is tomorrow so hopefully the Indy I go to will clear it. Apparently that light (and several others) is an automatic MOT fail now.

I was wondering if using V-Power now on a well-used engine could've caused the light to come on or whether it's just a coincidence?
