I caint see a fluid leak it could be coming from the front of the drive pulley.

any suggestions

does any one know a good indepedant garage around York?

thanks in advance .

The round tank, the one highest up and towards the rear is the ABC tank,, When I have had leaks I have bought a liter of fluid (£11) and just topped up the tank to get home.

Is the message in red or White

I have dropped the car off at Prestige at wakefield, I took the car in today (4 PM), they found the pump was leaking and managed to get a replacement pump for tomorrow morning and I should be able to pick the car up tomorrow afternoon.
Pretty impressive service, and quick turnaround.

And they let me borrrow their van while the car is bieing repared.

Im going to get the Pump polished and keep an £1300.00 ornement.

thanks for all the help.

job done

picked up the car , all ok except my wallet.

the pump had a fracture in the caseing which leaked fluid when it got hot. looks like a design fault in the pump itself, and I had to give the pump back to Mercedes.

It is odd this giving back the pump,,it is not a rebuilt item and it belongs to you

this may be for MB to assess the old unit to try to determine the reason for the failure. especially as it could be a design fault. it is rare but it does happen
