Hi All,
This my first post, I have just bought a CL55 AMG 2001, My previous car being a Lexus LS430.
The CL55 air con seems to work well for around 30 minutes, then is seems too struggle to maintain a cool temp, I have had it re gassed and that made some improvement, but again after aprox 30 min it gets stuffy, there is cold air coming from the vents but very week, I suspect that the evap sensor is faulty as there is an lot of water dripping from under the car when parked after a long drive, on the Lexus it would be a small puddle on the AMG is looks like some one has emptied a bucket of water.
I suspect the evaporator is freezing up and stopping the air flow, can some one confirm on there CL what the Evap sensor reading should when running mine seems to stay around 23 deg C , say the outside temp is 20 the inside temp (as displayed on the air con codes) would be 26 the evap sensor 30, (car left over night) it will then drop around 10 deg when the engine is running.

Regards AL
