Cl55 AMG-Exhaust noise

Does any one have or had a Ticking noise from around the transmission tunnel when accelerating (not fast) around second gear? the ticking is in tune with the engine reves, could it be the cat resonating?

just noticed today it happens after about an hour of driving. other posts point to a loose cat. has any one cut out the bottom cat on a 5+ litre engine and had it pass the MOT ?

there is water leaking out of the clamps , the clamps look badly corroded, i wonder if these will leak when the system gets hot?

in this pic you can see there is a spacer in one of the joints but not in the other?

no one else got a CL55 to compare with?

I had the same thing on my CL500. It was the cat. The water comes from the condensation of gases.
